I undertake not to divulge any information you may give me to anyone else and to keep any notes I make in a secure place.
The exception to this would be if it became known to me that you or someone else was in danger, especially a child. If I thought it necessary to disclose information I would make every effort to discuss this with you first.
I have regular supervision where I may discuss aspects of our sessions with my supervisor but I would make every effort not to disclose information that would identify you.
Legally I am bound to disclose information leading to a conviction under the Prevention of Terrorism Act. There is no client privilege for Counsellors in the UK, if I refused to testify I would be in contempt of court.
