This statement on the front page of the Second Life web site is a clear description of that virtual world. You may already have a second life and are experiencing challenges that you way wish to bring to counselling. Or you may be interested in online counselling but feel that text alone leaves you feeling the counsellor is too remote.
Perhaps you could visit me in my Second Life office. There you will meet my avatar, Jack Leisen, enjoy my comfy virtual chairs and be soothed by the sound of the virtual waves.

How it works
When you first register with Second Life you will be asked to download the software and you will be able to log in and experience Second Life through an avatar.
If this feels a bit complicated please contact me and I will talk you through the process. I can even arrange for you to borrow an avatar so that none of your personal details are held by Second Life.
When you are in Second Life you can communicate with me using text, or we can have a voice conversation.
Fees
My fee for individuals is £35.00 per 50 minute session.
I usually ask for Second Life counselling sessions to be paid in advance in order to confirm the booking.
This allows me to set aside my time confident that we will both be available for the session.

Refunds
If you are not satisfied with the first counselling session and feel that you do not want to work with me, please let me know right away and I will refund your payment.
If you need to cancel or rearrange a counselling session, and you give me more than 24 hours notice, I am happy to refund your payment.
If sessions are cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment the fee is still payable.
